Dol op wasabi? Dan smeer je toch een klodder op je lippen

Eet jij je sushi nooit zonder een dikke klodder wasabi? Dan hebben wij wellicht goed nieuws! Dezelfde wasabi kun je namelijk op je lippen smeren. Dit is namelijk de nieuwste beautytrend en wij kunnen je vertellen: it’s hot!

Maar waarom zou je in godsnaam wasabi op je tere lippen smeren? Dat zit ‘m hierin: lip plumbers, oftewel lipvergrotende smeersels, zijn al een tijdje razend populair. Veel vrouwen hopen dat hun lippen op deze manier een tikkeltje voller worden. Beautyblogger Farah Dhukai wilde ook wel vollere lippen maar dan met huis-tuin-en-keuken ingrediënten. Ze smeert daarom een klein beetje wasabi op haar lippen en laat dit even intrekken. Vervolgens zie je meteen dat haar lippen daadwerkelijk voller én roder zijn. Dus mocht je geen zin hebben om een lip plumber aan te schaffen? Bewaar dan de restjes wasabi. Pas wel op dat je het niet te veel en te vaak gebruikt want dan kunnen je lippen geïrriteerd raken.
